Mission

The Mission of Nakamura International Hotel School is to nurture people who will contribute to the international hospitality industry. This is derived from the educational philosophy of Nakamaura Haru, our founder.

Over half a century as a forward-thinking pioneer

History and tradition for over 70 years Producing over 15,000 graduates as a pioneer training school for hospitality industry

Nakamura Culinary School was opened by four students shortly after WWII when the food was scarce, with the goal of "cultivating human resources who can cook nutritious dishes from the limited food supply."
Among more than 15,000 graduates, some received stars in the Michelin Guides and others serve as chief chefs or operate their own restaurants.
Nakamura International Hotel School was opened in 1991.
Both school has contributed to the education of hospitality services globally.

Nakamura Gakuen Group consists of two corporations: one manages vocational schools and the other manages university, college, junior high/high school, kindergarten, nursery school, etc.
